About Us
Jr’s Daycare is owned and operated by Rheanne Hall and Jocelyn Landry. Jr’s Daycare operates with a structured yet flexible organizational framework. At the core of our structure is the Director/Owner Rheanne Hall, whose primary role involves Child registration, Payroll, company finances, and government claims as well as infant care. Also at the core is Director/ Owner Jocelyn Landry, whose primary role involves overall management, policy-making, and ensuring compliance with childcare regulations, as well as program planning and meal planning.
Rheanne Hall
Rheanne was born and raised in Westlock. She started in child care in high school being a nanny for the vice principle of her school. From there she moved to Olds to attend collage for a Business marketing diploma. After graduation she then moved to Calgary and became an Assistant Director of a before-and-after school care program from 2013-2016. She moved back to Westlock after her first son was born and began running a day home in Westlock. Rheanne has a level 1 in early childhood development and has completed and attended many child care courses and seminars. Rheanne has three kids of her own, a 7 year old, a 4 year old and a new baby.
Jocelyn Landry
Jocelyn was born and raised in Westlock and has been working with children since the age of 16 when she began respite for families. Since then she has spent 6 years working in childcare facilities and has obtained her level 3 Early childhood Educator diploma as well as a Child and Youth Services diploma and many different child related courses and certificates such as Flight, Brain story, child nutrition, trauma informed care, non violent crisis intervention, and occupational health and safety. She also has indigenous practices training and is herself Metis. She has experience in co-learning with children with special needs. Jocelyn has two children of her own aged 8 and 13
